CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE INSTRUCTIONS

(Teachers and Administrators)

  1. Right click on this link and choose open in new window :
  1. Complete Registration then Click on Making Educators Partners in Youth Suicide Prevention icon -Act on Facts- 60 mins
  1. Click on Begin under Pre-Assessment then complete the Pre-Assessment. After completion of the Pre-Assessment, click on Complete on the Next Screen.
  1. Then, click on each picture under the topic: Foster a Competent Community and complete this module in its entirety by clicking on each picture and video. At the end of the module, click next in the right hand corner to move on to the next module.
  1. Next, begin this module by clicking on the picture under the topic: Observations Are More Than a Gut Feeling and complete this module in its entirety by clicking on each picture and video. At the end of the module, click next in the right hand corner to move on to the next module.
  1. Then, begin this module by clicking on the picture under the topic: Listen to Your Student and complete this module in its entirety by clicking on each picture and video. At the end of the module, click next in the right hand corner to move on to the next module.
  1. Next, begin this module by clicking on the video under the topic: Remember Your Community and complete this module in its entirety by clicking on each picture and video. At the end of the module, click next in the right hand corner to move on to the next module.
  1. Then, begin this module by clicking on the picture under the topic: Questions from Educators and complete this module in its entirety by clicking on each picture and video. At the end of the module, click on the BEGIN button to start the post assessment.
  1. Next, answer all of the post assessment questions and you must type something in the text box on number 31 to see results. After viewing results, click on the complete button.
  1. Then, the last module you completed will appear on the screen. Scroll to the end of the page and click on the completion button in the right hand corner. Then a message will appear that states “you have completed this course”. Click on the Save and Exit button.
  1. After, clicking on the Save and Exit Button, the welcome page/main screen will appear. In the right hand corner next to your name and log out, click on the menu icon (3 vertical lines symbol), scroll down to certificate and print your certificate.
NON CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE INSTRUCTIONS

(Teacher Assistants, Bus Drivers, Cafeteria Workers, etc)

  1. Right-click on this link and choose open in a new window: NON-CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE SUICIDE TRAINING

  2. Click on Training at the top of the screen.

  3. Page down and click on green Register/Login button

  4. Click on Register (bottom right corner)

  5. Create your account by entering your Info (Students 0), then enter organization Info-Forrest County School District, 400 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401, Public School, Forrest County.  If it does not allow you to register, check the password and make sure you have met the requirements. You may have to select another password.

  6. Click on the Youth Suicide: "A Silent Epidemic"- (click) Launch

  7. You will watch the video/answer questions then continue.

  8. Complete Post-test questions

  9. A Certificate of Completion will be generated after answering all Post-Test questions correctly.  You may also retrieve your certificate by going to the Home screen, under certifications (bottom right corner), (click) on 2021 Youth Suicide:"...

  10. Print Certificate

  11. Complete the Suicide Training Form by closing the current tab and opening the previous tab.  Sign your name, (click) digitally sign, and then submit.
